Library of the International Information Technologies University was established in 2009 as a division of the university. The library fund consists of educational, methodological and scientific literature on traditional and computer media in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Training Facility is equipped with the literature of leading Kazakh and Russian publishing houses Raritet, Foliant, Economica, Bastau, High School, INFRA – M, Hot Line - Telecom, Lan.
Literature in English is acquired from such well-known foreign publishers like Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Pearson, McMillan, McGrow-Hill.
The general fund of the library is more than 345819 units. The fund consists of books, periodicals, reference books, and electronic resources. Automation of the library processes is carried out by the library program KALIS (Kazakh Automated Library-Information System).
Reference and bibliographic apparatus of the library fund consists of bibliographic and reference books, electronic catalog, electronic filing of newspaper and magazine articles, catalogs of works of the IITU teaching staff, and full-text database of its own production, available to all users of the University.

The Republican Electronic Interlibrary (REIL) pools together the full-text resources of university libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. REIL provides free and broad access to the electronic libraries of Kazakhstan’s universities, offering full texts of methodological and research materials, including the faculty publications, with due consideration of the copyright.
Electronic full-text database resource SpringerLink (Kazakhstan national license) includes, but is not limited to the following products: e-books, series of books, electronic reference books, , journals, on-line-journals’ archives, on-line-books archives, a collection of on-line-archives , SpringerProtocols (Minutes), SpringerMaterials (Materials), SpringerImages (Pictures), Zentralblatt MATH (Central newspaper), and the other materials contained in the web sites on the architecture and design, business and economics, computer science, physics, mathematics and statistics, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law.
Web of Knowledge Information Resources (Kazakhstan National License) include multi-disciplinary and highly specialized databases: Web of Science, Conference Proceedings Citation Index, BIOSIS, Journal Citation Reports Thomson Reuters, which serves as a leading international search and assessment tool for a variety of natural and social sciences, and the humanities.

ScienceDirect (the Netherlands)
Developed to satisfy the needs of scientific, educational, commercial and governmental organizations in poly-thematic information search, the ScienceDirectplatform provides for a broad coverage of literature from various fields of knowledge, granting access to more than 2500 journal and 20 000 book titles collected by the Elsevier publishing house, as well as to a great number of journal publications by prestigious scholarly communities.
The electronic database of the LAN publishing house offers online access to scholarly journals and full-text book collections of various publishers. One can work with them from the university intranet without preliminary registration or from any part of the world with the Internet access, provided one has got registered one’s personal office within the university network. This electronic library system includes electronic copies of the books published by LAN and other major publishers of educational literature, as well as e-versions of periodicals in natural, technical and humanitarian subjects.
Kazakhstan’s virtual scientific library (VSL) sponsored by the National Administration for Nuclear Safety under the US Ministry for Energy (DOE/NNSA), is a part of a large-scale program of technical consultations and trainings in various issues, including publications in international journals and writing applications for research funding. This program was launched by CRDF Global in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Centre of Scientific-Technical Information.
